14 1/2 Weeks!!

Well, since I am just really getting the word out about me being pregnant I guess I will update our blog with the latest baby news. First I didn't tell many people in the beginning because I was at high risk for miscarriage due to an abnormal uterus (I had no idea until my first pre-natal visit). So, I was shy about spreading the word until I entered my second trimester. We went to the doctor last week and the heartbeat is strong as ever. I am now 14 1/2 weeks and currently due Sept. 19th. I swear I am further along, but I guess the doctors are pretty much usually spot on! It's just that my pregnant belly looks like I am around 5-6 months...it's crazy! I began showing really soon which was just odd, but so is my body so there ya go! It has been quite strange to say the least watching my body change and grow in places I never thought could!! But it is so amazing to think of what is really going on inside....this miracle of life.

I have been soooo lucky because I have felt great! I have had minimal morning sickness and was tired but not THAT tired. I was in the best shape I had been in a long while so I am sure that helped.

The other night I felt the baby move. CRAZY! It woke me up in the middle of the night...it was just a little flutter and I haven't felt it since, but I just know it was the baby. It was the strangest feeling.

Markus and I are finally going to get our honeymoon....it is WAY overdue!!! His family was here after the wedding so we couldn't go then and shortly after that was Christmas and then I found out I was pregnant. But now that I have the go ahead from the doc, we are jetting off to Hawaii for two weeks! We can't wait to finally be honeymooners for goodness sakes even though now it's a party of three!!

We get our sonogram April 18th (day before we leave for Hawaii) to find out the sex...so stay tuned!!

Just crazy that this little thing is not even 3cm long and yet it has a heart already! Look at it's little arms and legs...they look like nubs!! Too cute!

Bend it like Becks!

So we got tickets (free...thanks Em!) to go see FC Dallas play LA Galaxy and our seats were fantastic. I couldnt help myself but watch Beckham the whole game. Markus was cracking up. Whew! Anyway, it ended up being a tie but it was a lot of fun! Everytime I tried to take a picture of him facing towards us someone's head always got in the way...so all i got was his backside ;-)
