Happy Birthay Papa!
Happy Birthday Babe! We have a lot to celebrate today! I hope you have a wonderful day even though I am sick :-( But it will be great! Love you...MK, Isaiah and Sophie

7 Mths Old!!
Hard to believe he's 7 mths old today...and today is Markus' Birthday! So we have a lot to celebrate today! I know that it will fly by and before we know it we will be sending him off to college. But in this short time that we have had him, it has just flown by. So much to write about. I will have to write another post to talk about these things that I have learned...life lessons as you will. It's been quite the journey. The main thing that I am learning is how to manage my time. Holy Cow! I was just telling my good friend Amy yesterday of how I'm leaning this lesson. The thing that boggles me (and makes me a little angry at myself)...is that I wonder what in the world I used to do with my time before him. I feel like I wasted soooooooo much time and then would complain that I was so busy, bla bla bla. Whatever, I wasn't busy...I was just lazy! haha! I'm really trying to let go of that fact that I could have accomplished so much before. Oh Well, the good news is that now I have NO time but I am becoming more organized and learning that lesson of managing my time effectively. Anyway, like I said...that will have to be in another post. Too much to write here! Here are some pics of the little man now!

Our Little Easter Boy!
Easter was sort of funny this year. We went to Palestine on Saturday to see his Big Boy Daddy and Wanda. While we were there we got to see his great Aunt Vaude and Uncle Willie and cousins Ruth, Mary Beth, Katey and Lance! What a fun time we had and it was so fun to show him off to his family! Well, I was so excited that I planned ahead (a must I'm finding out...lol) and got Markus' and Isaiah's Easter Basket all ready before we left so that when we got back that night it would be all ready to go for Sunday morning. Well, I had put them on the floor and forgot to put them away and Sophie had a chocolate fest while we were away. Oh Lord! Something I was not prepared to do that night was to make a run to the doggie emergency room. Thankfully, Sophie is 65 lbs and she didn't eat quite enough for it to be fatal. Thank God. Poor girl...she had a rough 3 days though. I won't go into details on that one...let your imagination go.
I was so excited to show our little guy off with his adorable outfit (Another rite of passage as a parent I guess)...but long story short, we didn't end up even going to church. Just one of those days and Mom wasn't feeling good. So we just slept in and had a lazy (chocolate free) morning. That afternoon we went to Mom's and she put on a spread and it turned out to be a wonderful sunny day!
Here are some pics of our little Easter Fella! How cute is he?? (Sorry Mom I know you didn't want to be in the pics...but they are the only ones we have!)
